The Avanti Pastry Blender makes light work of shortening pastry. It is designed to incorporate butter or margarine quickly and efficiently into dry ingredients such as flour and sugar - the key to a light, flaky texture. Made of heavy duty stainless steel, it features sturdy curved blades with bevelled edges to avoid sticking.
